Much has been said recently regarding the Tennessee Titans and left tackle Taylor Lewan negotiating an extension of the Pro Bowler’s contract. The two parties have been having discussions for a while. Lewan boycotted the minicamp last month in an effort to gain leverage for a second NFL deal. Lewan now has a fresh justification for that new contract, though. Over the weekend, Lewan wed Taylin Gallacher, his longtime love, in Big Sur, California. Wide receiver Michael Campanaro provided a picture from the occasion, showing how well the Titans were represented.
Campanaro was accompanied by linebacker Will Compton and quarterback Marcus Mariota for the nuptials. Mariota may be seen in the picture clutching a Hamm’s beer, so it looks like Campanaro revealed some news. There has been no conclusive research on whether Mariota really drank. Speaking of quarterbacks, Zach Mettenberger, a former Titan, attended the wedding as well. Mettenberger is presently seeing the daughter of former Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt.

The alternative choice would be to wait for the outcome and let the Titans franchise move on to the next season. Jon Robinson won’t likely let it to get that far, in my opinion. Robinson is aware of how important Lewan is to the Titans, the future prosperity of the organisation, and the city of Nashville. I believe a contract will be reached before or during training camp. Lewan’s salary for 2018 is set at $9,314,000.
The Titans are hoping Lewan will be there (and not holding out) for training camp with his teammates. On July 22, quarterbacks and freshmen report. On July 25, veterans must report. The first training camp session will take place at St. Thomas Sports Park on July 26.

Since 2014, Taylor Lewan has been a member of the Tennessee Titans. Together with his Titans colleague Will Compton, he also hosts their podcast, Bussin’ With the Guys.
